Course Learning Objectives/Outcomes

By the end of the course, the Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist will be able to:
-Scenario 1 Electronic Communications with Students, Explain responses/actions that will result in a more positive outcome and what proactive measures might be considered.
-Describe the Professional Teacher's responsibility to the Student.
-Scenario 1 Teacher Public Behavior, identify some potentially negative consequences for the teacher, students, and the school community.
-Scenario 1 Emotional Bullying, explain how this situation could become a violation of the law, the "Code," or other schools/district policies.
-Under NASW 1.07 Privacy and confidentiality, when social workers provide counseling services to families, couples, or groups, explain what social workers should seek.
-Under APA Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct, when psychologists believe that another psychologist may have been an ethical violation, explain how they attempt to resolve the issue.
-Under, NBCC Code of Ethics, identify appropriate action should NCCs take to prevent harm.
